Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
Bosch is a top brand that is known for its high-end refrigerators. Their counter-depth French door models sit flush with your countertops for an elegant look. The refrigerators are energy efficient and quiet, and include a smart-home function that allows you to control them with your phone or tablet. The fridge is spacious with space for leftovers and food items. This model features an ice maker that can make fresh, clean ice in a matter of minutes. It's also easy to use. The dispensers for water and ice are inside the refrigerator, not on the front. This is to ensure that they don't ruin the sleek exterior. The dispensers can be used with any cold beverage such as sports drinks and juice. The refrigerator is made of a durable stainless-steel that resists scratches. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're concerned about smudges appearing on your surfaces, make use of a cleaner that gets rid of fingerprints without harsh chemicals.
The refrigerator offers 20.5 cubic feet of interior space and includes Bosch's patented FarmFresh System featuring four cutting-edge freshness technologies to keep veggies, fruits, and leftovers fresh for three times longer than normal. Its freezer temperatures are near perfect, with temperatures never fluctuating more than a fraction of one degree from the an ideal temperature.
While the Bosch refrigerator is more expensive than the GE Appliances model, it comes with more features that make it worth the extra cost. It comes with a door-in-door storage space, which allows you to store some food items in a bin that fits inside the door of the refrigerator and has a convertible drawer with five temperature settings that are designed to accommodate different types of beverages, snacks, meat, and wine. And the stainless steel is a beautiful design element to any kitchen.
LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
LG counter-depth refrigerators pack a lot of storage in small footprints. They're also priced less than conventional-depth French door fridges and can remove the requirement for a separate under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView counter-depth refrigerator (LMWC23626S) is no exception, offering the capacity of a standard fridge, but in contemporary, sleek design that has an internal dispenser that makes it easy to access the water filter.
This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins offer plenty of space, and the top shelf can be folded to create a half-depth shelf to accommodate taller items. A set of crisper drawers are in the bottom of the refrigerator and the full-width deli drawer is suitable for meat or produce.
A recessible ice maker is located on the back wall of the refrigerator, which reduces space and allows you to store an extra bag of ice. The refrigerator has a door-cooling system that makes use of vents in the freezer and fridge doors to let cold air enter the refrigerator. It helps to prevent hot spots and helps keep temperatures consistent throughout the fridge.
This LG refrigerator was a standout during our tests. It offers ample space to feed a family, but we did notice a few irritating flaws. The drawers for the freezer aren't as cold as we'd like. The temperature of the middle drawer climbed to 41° during our maximum use test, which is enough to freeze ice cream or other frozen foods. The temperature of the rest of the freezer was about 36 degrees.
Another issue is that refrigerator doors have sunken handles both on the inside and under which makes it difficult for people who are shorter to comfortably guide them closed. It might seem like a minor thing, but we prefer front-mounted handles on refrigerators because they're more convenient to open and close.
The fridge is expensive, but it's well worth it for anyone looking to have an ultra-modern appearance in their kitchen. This refrigerator is ideal for those looking to upgrade their fridge or are building new homes and want to have a seamless look for their kitchen.

It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performed well in our cooling tests, although we're not too fond of its plastic handles and the bins that are crisper appear a bit fragile.
Bespoke is one of the features that makes the RF23M8090SG stand out. It allows you to personalize your refrigerator with removable colored panels. There are 11 color options with pastels through more vibrant hues. There are four metallic finishes. The panels can be customized to include photos or text. The only downsides of the RF23M8090SG are its somewhat cramped beverage center and a bit of a learning curve in opening the door-indoor feature that houses a water pitcher and a dispenser. You must look for the lever that is located under of the door about halfway down. Once french door fridge freezer have it the second door opens up inside the fridge, which houses the docking station for the pitcher and the water dispenser.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
French door refrigerators add a clean look to any kitchen, and they are suitable for different sizes of rooms. Counter-depth refrigerators are the best option if you're looking for this style but without the added height. We've tried a variety of them, and this Frigidaire model has a higher than average score in our rating system for its low cost and thoughtful features such as an adjustable temperature drawer.

It also has some irritating issues. Our test data suggests that the FGHB2866PF can warm up quite often in the freezer and get uncomfortable hot in the most inner shelves of the refrigerator. This is evident in our heat maps which show how much the internal temperatures vary from minute to minute. The butter bin in the orange section on the right is especially warm during our test period. It might not seem to be a problem at first, but the fridge spends most of the time above 32 degrees.
It's worth noting that this model is not Energy Star certified, which could be important to some buyers. The real problem is that this refrigerator isn't the best. It lacks advanced features and is made of a slender, flimsy material which makes it difficult to recommend it over more expensive options at this price point.
In many ways, the Frigidaire feels like the stainless-steel model of fridge you might see in your local appliances store. It's a great option with a brushed-finish that looks attractive and is resistant against smudges. However it's not able to distinguish itself from its competitors which are more feature-rich and less expensive.
If you're looking for a counter-depth french-door fridge but don't want to spend an excessive amount of money then the FGHC2331PF could be worth looking into. It has enough storage space for many families, and does a good job of keeping food fresh. Even if it's not an energy-efficient unit, it's considerably less expensive than our top-rated models.
